I need to multiply two signed longs (32 bits) together and get a third long. All I care about is the MOST SIGNIFICANT bits (32) of the product. Is there a neat way of doing this? Does the 68020 have a 32 bit multiply that produces a 64 bit result? if so, how can i put it into a lightspeed C program?
