Both the source & destination fields appear to have the first three octets of the p4200's hardware address plus three zero octets. For example, an arp shows: pro (192.31.154.9) at 2:7:1:1:b9:f2 temporary and the packets we are seeing look like: dst src proto 2:7:1:0:0:0 2:7:1:0:0:0 7030 With the first part of the data looking like: 0001 0203 0405 0607 0809 0a0b 0c0d 0e0f 1011 1213 1415 1617 1819 1a1b 1c1d 1e1f Total data length of 60 bytes. Frequency of these packets: every 4 seconds Now, if I didn't know better, I would say that the p4200 is learning to count. I would appreciate any information about what is happening.
