Bushnell) Organization: University of New Mexico, Albuquerque Lines: 22 All this VMS vs. UNIX discussion brings up an interesting thing I heard recently: DEC does its VMS development under Ultrix. Wow! Of course, they can only do utilities and higher level libraries this way, but it does say something about what the engineers that actually WRITE VMS use! Now, we all know that Ultrix isn't really UNIX, and that it probably should be thrown out the window, but it is certainly a lot better than VMS. At least thats what the writers of VMS think.
