Since this is a thing I seldom do unless on a dialup, the loss of terminal capabilities is not important. It might be to you. I'm sitting on a Sun 3/50 running SunOS 3.4EXPORT, utilities probably from 3.2 or 3.3 at the University of Oslo. On the Xenix 3.0b I have at work, there is no rows or columns information in stty; otherwise identical.
