Message-ID: <649@cacilj.UUCP> Date: 11 Mar 88 19:07:52 GMT Reply-To: paul@cacilj.UUCP (Paul Close) Organization: CACI, Inc. - Federal, La Jolla, CA Lines: 15 I am new to the world of X, and have only had experience with the docs and sources provided in the official MIT distribution (i.e. I haven't used any other implementations). So far, all of the code/docs I've seen describes interfaces only to WORKSTATIONS (bit mapped displays). Are graphics terminals completely excluded from using X? I realize that windows and mice are not (commonly) found on graphics terminals, but what about display-only programs that use only one window? I would be very interested in any information or policies concerning graphics terminals and X, and, as usual, thanks in advance.... -- Paul Close paul@cacilj.CTS.COM ...!{uunet, crash}!cacilj!paul Shaw's Principle: Build a system that even a fool can use, and only a fool will want to use it.
