This file is actually composed of 18 smaller files separated by control-D's. A small program suffices to split it into individual pieces, which can then be printed properly. The number of pages in the document is a matter of some conjecture, as indicated in previous postings. By the way, if "The X Window System" people want to keep being picking about having "The X Window System" referred to as "The X Window System" of the official variants thereof, perhaps they can start writing VAX and not Vax in their documents. :-)
