Message-ID: <119@lafcol.UUCP> Date: 5 Mar 88 13:09:12 GMT Organization: Academic Computer Center, Lafayette College Lines: 9 Keywords: post I note that when I post an item to the news it comes to our site immediately. Sometime later I get a message from the site from which we get our newsfeed indicating the item has been posted. However, I still have the uncomfortable feeling--since I have seen no responses to my items, that somehow they have not made it out into the real world. Is there any way to find this out? It's my understanding that the way news works is that when the item I have posted arrives here from outside, the news program will say "oh, I already know that" and not re-post it here. What I'd like is some way for me to find out when this happens.
