This is a followup to my previous request for help.

Also my readnews and vnews can't find news.  My previous post is where
it belongs (../news/spool/news/software/b/1), but when I run readnews or 
vnews, they respond with 'no news'.  My .newsrc file lists news.software.b
as a valid news group.
