Whenever I attempt to send a message from mh-e, it fails with an error
message that reads "Can't open draft file '//drft.a00000'" where 00000
is a process number.

A quick scan of mh-e.el leads me to believe that something is not being
passed into the environment of the spawned mh command.

Has anyone run across this or have pointers on where to look?

The environment is MH6.5 with GNUemacs 18.47 under SunOS 3.4 on a 3/280.
(Yes, I built with MHE).
