The FCC has drpped its plans to have a surcharge on the
telephone lines that connect computers and terminals.

There were over 10K letters written to FCC by the intersted
parties on this topic.  The all time, heaviest letter campaign
for FCC.

I am happy to hear the good news.  I am sure the .net and
various electronic BBs played a big role in the success of
this campaign.
