Does anybody have any information on how to hook up DEC RM05's
to an Alliant FX/8 with a Xylogics 451 controller? Now I know
everyone is asking "why on earth would you want to do that".
Well, let's put it this way. We have the drives attached to
a VAX but they would do us a lot more good on the Alliant.
Basically we need to have removable media on the
Alliant and this should cost less than buying removable Fujitsu's,
though I like that solution a lot better, I'm not the one who controls
the checkbook around here (if ya know what I mean! :-). Any advice would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
