I'm not sure if this is the right newsgroup but hopefully someone 
can help.

Has anyone done any work with fractrals or graftals.  I remember 
seeing a program written in either pascal or basic in a PC 
magazine a year or two ago.  I've just seen the interesting and 
colorful pictures that can be created with graftals/fractals.  
Do they have any other use(ie. modeling, pattern recognition, etc..)?
I would be greatful for any information(or even a program) in 
this area.  Please send email if no one else is interested.
