Hello all,

     Does anyone out there have the format of VMS mail (*.mai) files?  I'd
like to write a program to extract messages from a mail file according to
several criterion (such as subject, author, etc) and put them in a seperate
file. What this would be for is so that I could subscribe one account to
network lists (such as this one..) and just make the resulting file public
so people could SET FILE to it and read the messages. Seems much better
than subscribing everybody, and more timely than ftp'ing archives...

     Anyways, any help would be highly appreciated.
