I have a program which creates a subprocess to run a particular image. Sometimes, the process is created, but immediately dies. How can I find out *why* the subprocess dies? I have specified an equivalence name for SYS$ERROR, but I have not got a termination mailbox set up. If I read the manual correctly, no 'reason for deletion' info gets sent to the mailbox. Any help will be most gratefully received! Thanks! [This is a shared account. Please ignore the From: field, and reply to the following address.
