_An Introduction to TCP/IP_ by John Davidson is a new (1988) book published
by Springer-Verlag.  I found it very informative, although I was a little
disappointed that it only discussed TCP/IP over Ethernet and not over token
ring or anything else.  However, since you're only interested in Ethernet,
this shouldn't matter.  The ISBN is 0-387-96651-X.  The bad news:  for being
less than 100 pages, it's UNGODLY expensive at $25.
