On a particular microVAX running Ultrix 1.2, the game hangs when entering the Caves. Faking a core dump signal then restoring seems to set things aright - the game restores you inside of the caves. Somehow, a frost demon inside the hedge maze seems a bit out of place. When you learn a spell twice, the required mana supposedly goes down. I'm not sure this happens if, say, you learn identification with your first Collegium research session, then upon level 3 learn it again automatically. It really should be easier for a new character to become lawful; at least lawful enough for Athena or Odin to take note. The bank really should give interest. Otherwise, what's the use? (besides robbing it) ..b
