Isn't it just a #define DIRNAMESIZE 14 in some header somewhere? ATT has just announced 5.4, which is the Sun/ATT Berkeley/ATT hybrid, I believe. I imagine by the time Amiga gets Unix going, they'll be going for 5.4. It's probably mostly a religious issue anyway. At UseNix I've seen Berkeley and ATT gurus sit up there on panel discussions and repeatedly say that *they* cannot see any really big differences, and they wish the *users* would calm down.
