I would like to know if there is a easy way of terminating the protocal
receiving/transmission in the middle of a file.

On a slightly related issue, how can you set the packet size larger?
I have set the packet size larger on the machine I am transmitting to, 
but then VT100 seems to ignore it and send 96 character blocks.
