It is *probably* an 8520 chip.  Try swapping the two 8520's and see if things
change. If so, one is bad.

This was *not* a proper question for comp.sys.amiga.tech, .tech is for
discussion about creating *new* things, not fixing old ones.  Or so goes the
vision of it's creator (myself).

If it is about the arcane details of creating new
hardware or software, use .tech.  If not, use .amiga.
