Claris is the Apple spin-off software company.  They now handle all of
Apple's software design (well, not OS or "systems" software, but apps).
For instance, they are responsible for the latest releases of MacPaint(tm),
MacWrite(tm), etc...  Basically, they are what Apple's software division
used to be.  Hope this helps,
