The "Unix-like" operating system is called "Idris", and it's not close enough to UNIX for me. If you have any strong feelings about running stuff that you get from comp.sources.unix, stick to the real thing. In the UNIX hierarchy, Idris is a fork that was originaly a copy of version 6 UNIX.
