I wonder if they have or plan to have an emulater for this? Now, before I get nuked please let me finish. I think a lot of Apple // owners like their machines but if they had the chance (spelled m-o-n-e-y) they'd get a MAC II. I don't particularly care f or MAC's but the MAC II seems to be another machine altogether. It would be nice to be able to use my old software. Admittedly, as soon as I was able to buy enough MAC II software I probably wouldn't use the old stuff but the option would be nice. Here's a more serious angle. UNIX on the MACII either is reality or soon will be. Imagine a C or UNIX programming environment on the MAC II with the ability to test it in the same machine by "porting" to a differ ent card? With the right software and cards you could write and test C programs MAC, APPLE II and MS-DOS on the same machine.
