Combining two recent discussions here.  How about connecting 2 XL/XEs
together through the joystick ports and having them play in stereo.
Either have a master/slave system where one computer sits around waiting
to make some sound; or a tandem system where one machine sends out a
'click' as it plays, and the other keeps up, playing music out of it's
own files.

Just pipe the sound through a stereo amp.
