The code for serial line output is exactly the same, the bug has really
got nothing to do with UniTerm, it is a problem with the BIOS. BUT it
should never happen if you have flow-control turned off (I suspect
you did that with 1.7b), the last time I had a lockup (at 300, 1200
or 9600 baud) is more than one and a half years ago (I accidently
forgot to turn flow-control off).
