We just recovered here form some kind of news blackout that lasted over a week. Anyway I did find your last posting very useful and full of many good ideas. I agree that we need to stick to one file standard. I say lets fully surport Spectrum. I'm working on some animation software and really need the colors and a good paint program to back me up. The one minor problem I have with Spectrum is the lose of the first line, I was planning on using a 16 color top line. I guess it is a very minor point, so I think I will give up on it. I do like your idea of switching resolutions on the fly and will put some thought to it. I will post my version of the code written in Lattice C in a few weeks. I still have some kinks, but am planning to add plotting routines so that it will be more useful to people. Perhaps others will enchance it even more. Your help is really useful to me. Now not only will I have some great animation software, I have a great paint program to back it up. My hat is off to Darek, he has done us a great service. Wayne Knapp
