The 1541c has an optical sensor for track 0 so it doesn't have to
"head bang" to find that track.

Also, it will prevent you from accessing past track 35.
(some copy protection schemes put stuff on tracks between 36 and 40)

So...  if you're gonna run copy protected software, I would try it
out on a 1541c before i invested in one.
