I am a C128 owner and I was wondering how to convert the file to a binary form. Also I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem I had with my 1571 disk drive. The symptoms were that I couldn't format a C/PM disk or a regular double sided 1571 disk, but I could do anything a 1541 drive did. The problem was that the wires on the top drive head had come loose, thus disabling it. When I solder the wires back the every thing was fine until an month later the wires came loose again. Now this is a recuring problem and One that could go unnoticed. If you never use a double sided format or fill your disks pass about 663 blocks you will never know that your 1571 has turned into a 1570 drive.
