I told him I'd ask all of you netlanders if you had any recomendations on equipment and software for such an application. Currently he has a 64, a 1200 baud modem, a 1541 disk drive, and one of the CBM printers. He is thinking of buying a hard disk system and figures all- in-all it will cost him about $1200. Is this the way to go?!? I told him for $1200 he could get a cheap PC clone system with a harddisk and modem as the backbone for the BBS, and besides, it can be easily expanded (more modems, hard disks, etc.). Am I out-of-my-mind on this one? Regardless of which hardware configuration to use, I have no idea what software is available. Any help is highly appreciated. Please send recommendations to me directly, and I will summarize to the net. Thanks in advance, -- Scott +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Scott A.
