Lines: 8 We want to add a second RD52 disk to a MicroVAX system with an RQDX2 controller and one RD52 fixed disk. When we add the second drive, the system sees it as DUA1, but when you try to INITIALIZE the disk, the fatal error VOLINV, volume is not software enabled, is returned. What to do? Some claim that this is a bad configuration, but then why are there connectors for fixed disk 0 and fixed disk 1? We've spoken with someone who once had two RD52 drives in the same MicroVAX, too.
