But.. We should identify the priorities... Possibly: Files should be transferable over the net without problems. They should be un archivable on both Unix and PC's (read MS/PC Dos) (personnally I dont care If I can read them before I download, I have enough trouble just downloading them at all, but if many of you feel it is important, then add ->) examinable before down load. p.s. I think a lot of you *nix people would be surprised at the number of people reading Usenet on MS/PC DOS machines. I for one. I don't even know if I could handle a shar file on my PC. I just barely figured out that it means shell archive. Please no flames, and dont tell me to get *nix this or that. I cant. Guidance is always welcome! I dont wish to start a this computer that computer, or this Operating System, that Operating system war. I just think we should identify the most critical needs and try to meet them. I want this or I want that should come further down the list. Thanks fer listenin.
