This is the first problems that I have ever heard of anyone with a Tandy
1000 SX.  I believe that the upgrade should provided by your local shack
store for a minimal cost of say $20.

By the way, isn't it just like those fascist pigs at the "shack" to
always try to get you to spend the most money that you can to upgrade
your computer?  Clearly, they have no concept of free marketing.

For example -->  The tandy 1000 EX (what a great buy *sic*)
                  "    "    "   HX won't even support OS/2 (just say no)

I for one will certainly not buy my computer from them
