I agree. Windowing system should work with the keyboard, and not get into its way. Like X-Windows's xterm, most things are done on keyboard commands, but the windowing system makes it more convenient. If I am using the Mac, however, I won't have the CHOICE. I need to pull down a stupid manual, click an option in order to read other information about a file. In UNIX, I can just type ls -l. - Stephen
