        I  bought  the  ref  guide  you asked about,  and  I  was  quite
        disappointed by it.  The reason I bought it was to get some good
        programming  examples, but it contains only the most rudimentary
        examples.   For me, a much better source of info is contained in
        the July 21, 1987 issue of PC Magazine (Vol 6, #13) on pp 411ff.
        This article contains all  that  is useful (for me) from the ref
        guide, as well as much  more  in  the  way of actual programming
        examples and hints.  I HIGHLY recommend it.
