Message-ID: <2617@tekgen.TEK.COM> Date: 27 Mar 88 23:28:15 GMT References: <4757@pucc.Princeton.EDU> Reply-To: jonh@tekgen.UUCP (Jon Howell) Organization: Tektronix, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Lines: 23 (Similar article posted to CoCo Listserve discussion) I have a terminal hooked up to the coco under Os9 level II. It is in slot one, with an RS-232 pak. It runs 19.2 kb. I also have a modem hooked up in an RS-232 pak, slot two, running 1200 b. When I config'ed a disk with both /t2 and /t3 on it, there was an unacceptable bug: Anything sent to either port also appeared on the other port, and at the baud rate of the intended port. So, if I sent a string to the modem, then it would get there OK, but the terminal would display a load of junk which must've been 1200 baud, since one string expanded to half a screen on the terminal. Also, sending anything to the terminal causes the modem lights to flicker at 19.2kb. (They of course don't recieve anything.) Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this problem? Send new dd's, if I need them. (I know ~zilch about device drivers/descriptors) I can't use /t1 for the modem because it slows the system almost to a halt, and I also want my printer online.
