I would like to know of anybody who did this using a seagate drive, because they are quite cheap (got $519 for a ST277N from a mail order) and I would like to put one of those babies in my mac II. Is all you have to do : - get a raw hard disk with a scsi controler - get a scsi cable to connect the HD to the inside plug in the mac II (staight cable) - get a power cable - get a formatter software to format the HD - have fun :-) I would appreciate any help from anybody who did this. Please answer to me directly, and I will summarize the reply and post them to the net. Alain Dumesny Cornell University.
