Well my Jasmine I90 is a nice fast drive, but there is an obnoxious whine
that periodically starts up during operation. Seems to be related to vibration
of the drive itself. I have taken to shoving wads of paper under the connector
edge (point of connection at the drive)that runs from the drive to the SCSI
stuff on the motherboard to try and shut it up but find that it only helps for
a short while.
