In earlier finders, dragging a disk to the trash would tell you that you
can't throw away a disk.  However, after ejecting a disk (and having it turn
25% gray), you can forget about the grayed disk by throwing it away.
A later finder combined these into "throwing away" a disk = eject & forget.
