Nigel Redman, a brave programmer in California, has written a number of XCMDs that implement MIDI input and output from within HyperCard. These are available right now on CompuServe in APPHYPER DL11. The XCMDs are shareware, $30 requested, with a fairly complex licensing scheme. While that is on the expensive side for shareware, be aware that this programmer is *very* receptive to ideas about what you would like to do with HyperCard and MIDI. I spoke to him in January about something nontrivial that I wanted to be able to do, and he incorporated it into the latest release (first week of March). To express your interest, send me mail directly. If there are only a few responses, I will contact you personally. If there are a bunch, I'll post more info directly to hyper-hackers.
