Message-ID: <8803180604.AA19800@nps-cs.arpa> Date: 18 Mar 88 06:04:50 GMT Sender: usenet@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 13 We are looking for a converter that takes RGB from the IRIS and turns it into NTSC in real-time. We are particularly interested in systems that take the full resolution of the IRIS and perform an averaging of some sort down to the smaller NTSC size. We had a demo here of the Folsom Research Imaging system (around $16K) and its not bad. The Lyon & Lamb system takes 1/10th of a second and doesn't work in real-time (I then need a single step videotape capability). What other systems are people out there using?
