The machine cae780 has been shutdown without any advance warning.  It will
not be coming back up.

Since we cannot get onto the machine to obtain a complete list of its UUCP
connections this message is the only notification regarding the status of
cae780.  Please remove cae780 from your L.sys file.

For those sites that were dependent upon cae780 for mail or news -- I'm sorry
that we were unable to give you any advance warning.

We don't have any other machines in the Bay area to pick up the load --
however we are willing to allow those machines that were communicating with
cae780 for news and mail to call Tektronix for news and mail if any wish to
do so.

We are in the process of updating the UUCP map entry for both Tektronix and
cae780.  Since it takes a minimum of three days to propagate an update there
may be some mail routing problems in the interim.
