Lines: 20 I am thinking of installing Minix on my system at home. However, a few questions are running through my mind, and this should be the place they can be answered. 1) Is Minix compatible to BSD or Sys V UNIX systems? If not, how much porting needs to be done? 2) Is there support for running MS-DOS programs? 3) Is it possible to have MS-DOS on one Hard Disk, Minix on a second, and boot from either one? 4) Are there any terminal programs available for Minix? Please e-mail responses, as I don't subscribe to this newsgroup (yet). ============================================================================ Brian O'Neill, MS-DOS Software Exchange Coordinator ArpaNet: boneill@hawk.ulowell.edu UUCP : {(backbones),harvard, rutgers,et. al.}!ulowell!hawk!boneill
