The Excelan socket emulation requires the TCP/IP code that gets loaded onto the board, and the loader, etc. Last I knew, Excelan charged for this code even when used without the Telnet and FTP they offer. I believe that the U-B NIU requires a similar load at startup time, and I would expect U-B to charge for that code, too. 2. The Microsoft standard low-level interface for OS/2 is out, but not for DOS, as far as I know. I believe they will be different. 3. Our "Packet Driver Specification" revision is complete, and the number of manufacturers that support it is up to four, with two more under development. I didn't get any replies to my earlier question: Should I post the new version (about 25K formatted), or will availability via anonymous FTP work for everyone who is interested?
