I'm replying here by net-news rather than email since the question has come up before & answers may be of general interest to the group. I have the Pacific Peripherals OverDrive controller, and have had it for about 2 months now. I am using it with a Seagate ST157N drive (48 Meg SCSI). It has worked perfectly and so far I have been delighted with it. Having not seen any other controller &/or drive in action, I can't say how it compares with other setups, although I have had none of the problems that other people have been reporting with the 2090 controller. My only complaint is that it does not autoboot; but I think that autobooting is not supported at all under V1.2 of AmigaDos (correct me if I'm wrong); I do not know if the hardware will allow autobooting once the OS is changed to support it. -- Mark Lanzo -- (borrowing a friend's account) Disclaimer: I have no connection with Pacific Peripherals other than as a (so far) satisfied customer. operating system; I do not know if the It has performed flawlessly
