Only experience is with AppleWorks and Volition System's (alas, no longer with us :-( ) ASE Apple Pascal Editor on ][e and ][c, and RUNOFF on DEC. Of these, AppleWorks clearly wins. Enhanced with full complement of Beagle Bros. Timeout accessories. It's good on the ][c (386K Apple memory), great on the ][e (3 Mb Applied Engineering RanWorks), Transwarp, mouse. Haven't started using WorkPerfect on IBMs and PC transporter yet. V5.0 gets very good reviews. If it turns out to be great, might induce trying Apple version. However, for now, AppleWorks-Timeout meets all my needs (except that a communication program would be nice). ****DISCLAMER: My comments, etc., are my own shakey opinions ******** | Bruce P.
