I bloaded kermit380 into memory, then used the install routine. I put a write protect tab on the disk so only the version in memory gets changed. The installation program stops with a disk full error, I just press reset, type call-151 and do a 1000G. These are the results for the setups on the 7 cards offered. 1: Beeps, drops out to the monitor around B800. 2: Will send and receive, but after the first key is pressed the screen shakes, I imagine a softswitch for 50 Hertz is tampered with. In forty column mode it prints an inverse capital N at the start of every line, (actually one was a flashing capital N), and in 80 column mode it prints everything on the same line, that is, it doesn't line feed, it only returns to the start of the same line. 3: Spews out a stream of gibberish. 4: Also spews a stream of gibberish. 5: Also destabilizes screen, like 2, but does not send data, the screen is merely unstable and nothing is received nor sent out. 6: Breaks out at $0146 7: Alternates printing 40 del characters on one line with printing a blinking full block cursor on a line by itself. 2 is the closest of the lot, I still think its just the way it goes at the card. Is the source code available somewhere?
