The joysticks function just fine. The problem that I have run into is that the game with which I first tried to run two the joysticks doesn't appear to access the buttons correctly. When playing Archon (1), I found that although the movement was great, the buttons were accessed as BTN0 for Joystick#1 and BTN1 for Joystick#2. This gave to playing the second joystick as such: one hand on the joystick and the other on the closed apple (or the opponent's second button :-)). And if you have an opponent who -really- likes to play fair, he/she can press their second button at random times to screw you up. Anyway, is this a standard? Or is this something that Electronic Arts did before they knew better (and Archon 2 is fixed?)? How did they handle this in ONE-On-ONE? If it is a standard, but re-routed within the 2-stick cables, I can fix BTN0 of Joystick#2 to BTN1 of the 16-pin, but this would screw up those 1 joystick games which require 2 buttons. Oh well, anybody know anything ? Okay, now, do you know anything relevant to THIS ? :-} -Remo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ .{nbires,ncar,seismo,ihnp4}!boulder!tramp!williamm \ Bela Lugosi riding the BIT: WILLIAMS@COLORADO.EDU / Kundalini Express in ...
