Simply write a simple program that starts up Quickdraw. This will install the system font as the current Quickdraw font. Then call the Quickdraw function GetFont. GetFont will return a handle to the system font. Dereference the handle and you have the absolute address of the system font in ROM. The reason you can't find any reference to the system font's address in the IIGS documentation is that is liable to move with each release of the system ROM.
