The paddle- adapple has jumpers that can be rearranged to do a variety of things, including reversing the buttons on a joystick, so you should be able to make it set the button to whichever you want. If you'd like, I can send you the device and you can try it out. If it works ok, send me a check; if it doesn't, send it back. Let me know if I should do so, and at what address.
