I've heard of several programs to allow a 128K IIe or IIc to act
as two simultaneous 64K apples, even to allow Dos 3.3
and prodos to run at the same time.  Does anyone have one of these?

Has anyone written a modem program for the Laser 128 to access the
ports?  I've written one that will hold its own up to 2400 baud on the
40 col screen, but when I go to use the 80 column screen I
can't manage better than 110 baud.  I'm not referring to dropping
characters, my problem is that the routine I use to see if a new
character has come in falls through, indicating new characters, and
printing them (quite a mess).
I'm doing this from machine language, so I know its not the speed that's
the problem.
