Does anyone have one of these? Has anyone written a modem program for the Laser 128 to access the ports? I've written one that will hold its own up to 2400 baud on the 40 col screen, but when I go to use the 80 column screen I can't manage better than 110 baud. I'm not referring to dropping characters, my problem is that the routine I use to see if a new character has come in falls through, indicating new characters, and printing them (quite a mess). I'm doing this from machine language, so I know its not the speed that's the problem.
