A better solution would be to port Phil Karn's KA9Q package to the GS, since it offers multi-window terminal sessions, file transfer, electronic mail, interporability with net/rom and normal ax.25 connections, and better channel access. (This is espicially nice on noisy channels.) I'd do it if I had a GS, all I have now is a ][+, a //e with a not-very nice C compiler. A GS can have enough memory to handle the package. The KA9Q package has been ported from the PC to the Mac and Amiga, the GS would be a useful machine to run it on, but I don't know if the APW C compiler is up to the task. -- - Ralph W.
